- 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1/2 cup grated onion

- 1/2 cup panko or breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Add ground turkey, grated onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire, Dijon, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika to a bowl. Mix gently just until combined.
- Shape the mixture into 4-6 patties, making a small dip in the center of each.
- Oil the grill grates using tongs and a paper towel.
- Place patties on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side.
- Check doneness, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Add cheese in the last minute of cooking, if desired.
- Rest the patties for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
Do not overmix the patties to prevent them from being tough. Allow them to rest after cooking for juiciness.
