- 1 pound Ground beef
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
- As needed Rice paper wrappers
- As needed Lettuce leaves
- As needed Sliced vegetables (carrots, cucumber, bell pepper)
- As desired Sriracha or dipping sauce
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, mixing well and cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fold in the fresh basil leaves.
- Prepare the rice paper wrappers according to package instructions, soaking until soft.
- On each wrapper, place a lettuce leaf, a spoonful of the beef mixture, and sliced vegetables. Roll tightly to secure.
- Serve immediately with Sriracha or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Don’t overfill the rice paper wrappers. You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
