  • Total Time: 60 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups fresh or canned peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Stir well and pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, milk, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter evenly over the peaches, spreading it across the top.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use ripe, fresh peaches for the best flavor. This cobbler pairs beautifully with vanilla ice cream.
