  • 6 large Russet potatoes (washed & dried)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tbsp coarse salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat dry.
  2. Poke a few holes in the skin to prevent bursting.
  3. Coat with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Season generously with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  5. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  6. Place the potatoes directly on the smoker grates.
  7. Smoke for 2.5 to 3 hours, flipping halfway through.
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings.
