Instructions
- Cook or reheat the rice, starting with fresh rice first.
- Season the salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika or chili flakes.
- Cook the salmon: Pan method: heat oil in a nonstick pan on medium heat, cooking 3 to 5 minutes per side. Oven method: bake at 400°F for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Mix the sauce of mayo, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice; taste and adjust.
- Build the bowls with rice first, then salmon on top, drizzle sauce, and add toppings like cucumber, avocado, and green onion.
Notes
For added flavor, flake the salmon into bite-sized chunks and toss with the sauce before adding to the rice.
