- 1 pound Boneless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup Korean BBQ sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
- 8 Bao buns
- Sliced scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Start by marinating the boneless chicken thighs in Korean BBQ sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
- After marinating, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the chicken thighs. Cook until they are golden and well cooked on both sides, about 6-8 minutes each side.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare your bao buns by following the package instructions, usually by steaming for about 10 minutes until fluffy.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove it from the heat and allow it to rest for a few minutes. Then, slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Assemble the bao by placing a generous portion of chicken into each steamed bao bun. Top with sliced scallions for freshness.
- Serve warm with extra Korean BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
