Quick and flavorful chicken tacos made in the Instant Pot, perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds Chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 8 Tortillas

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the Instant Pot. Ensure they are arranged flat and evenly spaced.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece evenly.
  3. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 15 minutes. Make sure the valve is set to sealing.
  4. Once cooking is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for about 10 minutes before switching to a quick release.
  5. Carefully remove the chicken and shred it with forks or tongs, then serve it in tortillas with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best texture, allow natural pressure release and don’t overload the pot.
