- 4 cups Water
- 4 bags Black tea
- 2 Ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1/4 cup Sugar (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes, as needed
- Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Remove from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, add sugar, and stir until dissolved.
- Cool the tea to room temperature.
- Puree the sliced peaches in a blender until smooth, then strain through a fine sieve to extract the juice.
- Mix the peach juice with the cooled tea, then serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for maximum flavor. For a less sweet option, consider using honey or agave instead of sugar.
