Ingredients
- Greek feta cheese: 8 oz (220 g)
- Greek strained yogurt: ¾ cup
- Lemon: 1 (juiced and zested)
- Extra-virgin olive oil: 2 tablespoons (plus more for serving)
- Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
- Chili flakes: 1 teaspoon
- Fresh mint: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
- Fresh basil: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
- Pistachios: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Combine the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, half of the lemon zest, olive oil, and garlic powder in a large food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Transfer the dip to a shallow serving bowl or plate. Spread it evenly for an attractive presentation.
- Drizzle more olive oil on top, and sprinkle with chili flakes, chopped mint, basil, pistachios, and the remaining lemon zest.
- Serve immediately with pita bread, baguette slices, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Notes
Use high-quality feta for the best flavor. Let the dip chill for at least an hour before serving to let flavors meld.
