A vibrant and refreshing appetizer featuring creamy Greek feta, tangy yogurt, and crunchy pistachios, perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings 1x

Ingredients

  • Greek feta cheese: 8 oz (220 g)
  • Greek strained yogurt: ¾ cup
  • Lemon: 1 (juiced and zested)
  • Extra-virgin olive oil: 2 tablespoons (plus more for serving)
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes: 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh mint: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
  • Fresh basil: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
  • Pistachios: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Combine the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, half of the lemon zest, olive oil, and garlic powder in a large food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  2. Transfer the dip to a shallow serving bowl or plate. Spread it evenly for an attractive presentation.
  3. Drizzle more olive oil on top, and sprinkle with chili flakes, chopped mint, basil, pistachios, and the remaining lemon zest.
  4. Serve immediately with pita bread, baguette slices, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

Use high-quality feta for the best flavor. Let the dip chill for at least an hour before serving to let flavors meld.
