Gluten Free Zucchini Noodles

A delightful and healthy alternative to traditional pasta, perfect for adding more veggies to your diet.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large Zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon Dairy-Free Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Pepper

Instructions

  1. Begin by trimming the ends off the zucchini and cutting them in half or down to a size that fits your spiralizer or grater.
  2. Use the spiralizer or grater to turn the zucchini into noodles and place them into a large bowl. Set aside while you prepare the water.
  3. Bring a large pot filled with 2 quarts of water to a rolling boil over high heat. You may choose to salt the water for added flavor.
  4. Once the water is boiling, add the zucchini noodles and let them cook for 2 minutes. This will quickly soften them while maintaining a nice bite.
  5. After 2 minutes, immediately drain the zucchini noodles using a fine mesh sieve, allowing any excess water to escape for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked zucchini noodles to the bowl and add the dairy-free butter, sea salt, and ground pepper. Toss until everything is well combined.
  7. Serve immediately, while warm, to enjoy the best flavor and texture.

Notes

Do not overcook the zucchini noodles. Use fresh zucchini for the best flavor and texture.
