Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large Zucchini
- 1 tablespoon Dairy-Free Butter
- ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Pepper
Instructions
- Begin by trimming the ends off the zucchini and cutting them in half or down to a size that fits your spiralizer or grater.
- Use the spiralizer or grater to turn the zucchini into noodles and place them into a large bowl. Set aside while you prepare the water.
- Bring a large pot filled with 2 quarts of water to a rolling boil over high heat. You may choose to salt the water for added flavor.
- Once the water is boiling, add the zucchini noodles and let them cook for 2 minutes. This will quickly soften them while maintaining a nice bite.
- After 2 minutes, immediately drain the zucchini noodles using a fine mesh sieve, allowing any excess water to escape for about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Return the cooked zucchini noodles to the bowl and add the dairy-free butter, sea salt, and ground pepper. Toss until everything is well combined.
- Serve immediately, while warm, to enjoy the best flavor and texture.
Notes
Do not overcook the zucchini noodles. Use fresh zucchini for the best flavor and texture.
