  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Beef chuck roast: 1.5 to 2 pounds
  • Beef broth: 2 cups
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon
  • Sliced onion: 1
  • Hoagie rolls: 4
  • Swiss cheese (optional): 1 cup
  • Salt and pepper to taste: To taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, sliced onion, salt, and pepper to the pot.
  3. Cook on low for 480 minutes or high for 240 minutes until the meat is tender.
  4. Shred the beef using two forks and mix it thoroughly into the juices.

Notes

Allow the beef to soak up the juices after shredding for enhanced flavor. Consider using different breads for a unique twist.
