A delicious and simple recipe combining succulent chicken breasts with a spicy-sweet honey garlic glaze, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/4 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, chili flakes, Greek yogurt, egg whites, soy sauce, and salt until fully combined.
  3. Add chicken breasts to the bowl, tossing to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature or up to 30 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Place the marinated chicken on a sheet pan, spacing them evenly, and pour any remaining marinade over the top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. For an optional finishing touch, broil on high for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top.
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Let the chicken rest before slicing to retain juices. You can substitute Greek yogurt with sour cream for a creamy texture.
