- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup dark chocolate (melted)
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine whipped cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, cocoa powder, melted dark chocolate, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and fluffy.
- Layer ladyfinger cookies at the bottom of your serving dish. Dip in hot water and sugar if desired.
- Spread half of the chocolate mixture over the ladyfingers, then top with another layer of ladyfingers and the remaining chocolate mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or until set. Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
Notes
Serve in individual glasses for an elegant presentation and make in advance to allow flavors to meld.
