Ingredients

  • Turkey slices
  • Basil pesto
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Tomato slices
  • Ciabatta bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat your panini press or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread a generous layer of basil pesto on the inside of both ciabatta bread slices.
  3. Layer turkey slices, fresh mozzarella, and tomato slices on one slice of bread.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread, pesto side facing in.
  6. Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil to enhance crispness.
  7. Cook in the panini press or skillet for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts.
  8. Slice the panini in half and serve warm.
