- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 inch Ginger (grated)
- 1 cup Vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- Cooked rice (for serving)
- Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
- Green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs or breasts in the slow cooker. You can use fresh or frozen chicken.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until blended, then pour over the chicken.
- Set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. In the last 30 minutes, add your choice of vegetables.
Notes
Check chicken for doneness; it should reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Serve with cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
