- 2 Chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
- 8 small Tortillas
- 1 cup Grilled pineapple, chopped
- 1 Pear, diced
- 1/4 Red onion, diced
- Juice of 1 Lime
- Cilantro, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
- Prepare the salsa by mixing the grilled pineapple, diced pear, diced red onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest before slicing into strips.
- Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing chicken strips and a spoonful of pineapple pear salsa in each tortilla.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
Notes
Allow the chicken to marinate for flavor and tenderness. Use chicken thighs for juicier meat.
