Ingredients
1 turkey breast
1 cup stuffing mix
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon rosemary
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat oven:Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even cooking of the turkey breast.
- Prepare stuffing:Sauté chopped celery and onion in a skillet until softened (3–5 minutes). Combine with stuffing mix, chicken broth, cranberries, sage, and rosemary. Stir until well blended.
- Butterfly and fill turkey:Slice turkey breast horizontally to create a pocket. Fill with the stuffing mixture, roll tightly, and secure with kitchen twine.
- Season and roast:Brush turkey with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Roast in preheated oven for 1.5 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest and serve:Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables or cranberry sauce.
Notes
Ensure the turkey is fully thawed before preparation. For added brightness, consider adding a touch of citrus zest to the stuffing. Letting the turkey rest before slicing ensures maximum juiciness.
