- 1 Puff Pastry Sheet
- 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup Strawberry Jam
- 1 Egg
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut it into square shapes, about 4 to 5 inches wide.
- Place a teaspoon of softened cream cheese and a teaspoon of strawberry jam in the center of each square. Fold the corners towards the center and pinch to seal.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring space to expand.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastries.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
Customize with different fruits like blueberries or raspberries if desired. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free puff pastry.
