  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 2 tablespoons milk for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheets, making sure to space them 2 inches apart. Create an indentation in each and fill with strawberry jam.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar and milk together and drizzle over the cooled cookies. Top with sprinkles.
