Ingredients
Scale
- 8 Slider buns
- 1 pound Steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup Bell peppers (sliced, mixed colors)
- 1 medium-sized Onion (sliced)
- 8 slices Cheese (like provolone or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Condiments (optional, mayonnaise or mustard)
Instructions
- Start by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Ensure your veggies are sliced thin enough to cook evenly.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté them until they’re soft and slightly caramelized, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Season it with salt and pepper and cook for a few minutes until browned. Mix the steak with the sautéed veggies.
- Layer the juicy steak and caramelized veggies onto each slider bun. Top them generously with cheese and place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is gooey and bubbly.
Notes
Keep a close eye on the broiler to prevent burning the cheese. Serve warm with a selection of condiments.
