Juicy steak meets colorful veggies in a mini bun that’s bursting with flavor!

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Slider buns
  • 1 pound Steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup Bell peppers (sliced, mixed colors)
  • 1 medium-sized Onion (sliced)
  • 8 slices Cheese (like provolone or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Condiments (optional, mayonnaise or mustard)

Instructions

  1. Start by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Ensure your veggies are sliced thin enough to cook evenly.
  2. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté them until they’re soft and slightly caramelized, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Season it with salt and pepper and cook for a few minutes until browned. Mix the steak with the sautéed veggies.
  4. Layer the juicy steak and caramelized veggies onto each slider bun. Top them generously with cheese and place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is gooey and bubbly.

Notes

Keep a close eye on the broiler to prevent burning the cheese. Serve warm with a selection of condiments.
