Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy. Add sourdough starter discard, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.
