Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, being careful not to brown it.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar and sweetened condensed milk; bring to a gentle boil while stirring constantly.
  3. Allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes while stirring, then remove from heat.
  4. Mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into a lined 9×9 inch baking pan and spread evenly; let cool at room temperature for 2-3 hours until set.
  6. Once firm, cut into squares and serve.

Notes
