- 4 Chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Flour
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish, to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the seasoned chicken thighs until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic and cook until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over onion and garlic, stirring for about a minute. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer until thoroughly cooked. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional five minutes to thicken.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes and garnish with fresh parsley. Customize seasoning based on preference.
