  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet Au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and position them atop the chicken.
  4. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks right in the slow cooker.
  7. Serve the Mississippi Chicken on buns, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Notes
