- 250 g Strawberries
- 600 ml Water
- 4 tsp Red rooibos tea
- 2 TBSP Honey
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla seeds (from one vanilla pod)
Instructions
- Bring 600 ml of water to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Add 4 teaspoons of red rooibos tea, cover, and steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the steeped tea into a large jug, discarding the tea leaves, and let cool to nearly room temperature.
- Blend the strawberries into a smooth purée, straining if desired for a smoother texture.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey into the cooled tea until fully dissolved, then mix in strawberry purée and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla seeds.
- Serve over ice with fresh strawberry slices on top if desired.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor. This tea stores well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
