- 1 box Chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cups Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Chopped Reese's Peanut Butter cups
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13-inch baking dish well to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until well combined, then pour this mixture into your prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the chocolate cake batter and gently swirl with a knife. Finally, sprinkle the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups on top before baking.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. It is best if cooled slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best experience. Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
