A flavorful butter chicken recipe that transforms an ordinary weeknight into a culinary celebration, ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh Cilantro, for garnish
  • Naan or Steamed Rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the finely chopped onions, minced garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Sauté until softened and fragrant, around 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chicken cubes and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream.
  5. Add the garam masala, turmeric, cumin, and salt. Mix everything well.
  6. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle fresh cilantro over the top.
  8. Serve with warm naan or steamed rice.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with extra-firm tofu or chickpeas. Add more cream or Greek yogurt for extra creaminess.
