Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup tahini

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until mixed.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, and add spoonfuls of tahini on top. Swirl with a knife or toothpick.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before cutting.

Notes
