- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup tahini
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, and add spoonfuls of tahini on top. Swirl with a knife or toothpick.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before cutting.
Notes
These brownies can be customized with gluten-free flour or by adding nuts for texture. Serve warm with ice cream.
