Description
Quick and easy cinnamon roll bites made with pantry staples. No yeast, no waiting, just warm, fluffy cinnamon-sugar bites ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
1 cup (130 g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup + 2 tsp (90 ml) milk or water
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter – melted
3 tbsp granulated sugar
1–2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2–1 tsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375℉ (190℃) and line a loaf pan with parchment or grease it lightly.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
Combine milk and vanilla in a cup, then pour into the flour mixture.
Form a soft, smooth dough ball and roll it into a 10-inch log on a floured surface.
Flatten slightly and cut into 20 small pieces.
Place the pieces in a bowl, pour over the melted butter, and toss gently.
In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar. Pour over dough pieces and toss to coat.
Arrange pieces flat in the pan and bake for 9–10 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
Let baked bites cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze. Serve warm.
Notes
Make them dairy-free with plant-based milk and margarine. Glaze can be adjusted for thickness and sweetness.
