- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Marinate in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- Prepare flour coating mixture by whisking together flour, garlic powder, paprika, and seasoning.
- Dredge marinated chicken in flour mixture, then dip in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through (5-7 minutes).
- Transfer fried chicken to paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauces.
Notes
For a spicier variation, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture or incorporate lemon zest for a refreshing flavor.
