Scale
- 4 Ripe Peaches
- 1 package Puff Pastry
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
- 1/4 cup Orange Blossom Syrup
- 1/4 cup Toasted Pistachios, chopped
- Edible Rose Petals for garnish
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Blanch the peaches by immersing them in boiling water for about 30 seconds, then transfer them to an ice bath. Peel and pit the peaches.
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares large enough to enclose each peach. Place a peach in the center of each square, sprinkle with sugar and cardamom, and wrap the pastry around the peach, sealing the edges.
- Place the dumplings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the dumplings for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Drizzle with orange blossom syrup, top with toasted pistachios, and sprinkle with edible rose petals.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use ripe peaches as their natural sweetness enhances the dumplings. Store-bought puff pastry works well for convenience, but making it from scratch adds a special touch.
