  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the raisins.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Don’t overmix the dough to maintain a chewy texture. For even baking, rotate the baking sheet halfway through the baking process.
