- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour

- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 large Egg
- 1 cup Raisins
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well blended.
- In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the raisins.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Don’t overmix the dough to maintain a chewy texture. For even baking, rotate the baking sheet halfway through the baking process.
