- 4 cups Water
- 3 tablespoons Green Tea Leaves
- 1 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
- 1/2 cup Cane Sugar (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Boil four cups of water in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat.
- Add three tablespoons of green tea leaves to the hot water and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Add one cup of fresh mint leaves and steep for an additional 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher and add half a cup of cane sugar while still warm, stir until dissolved.
- Pour the iced tea over a glass filled with ice cubes and garnish with extra mint leaves.
Notes
For additional flavor, add slices of fresh lemon or orange, or experiment with other herbs like basil or lemon balm.
