- 1 lb Beef Tenderloin, cut into small pieces
- 8 oz Mushrooms, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry, thawed
- 1 Egg, beaten
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté until their moisture evaporates, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix cooked mushrooms with beef tenderloin pieces and Dijon mustard until well coated.
- Roll out puff pastry, cut into squares, and place a spoonful of the mixture in the center. Fold over the pastry and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
These parcels can be made vegetarian by substituting beef with lentils. Serve warm for the best experience.
