  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Combine olive oil, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper; mix to create a dry rub.
  3. Generously rub the spice mixture all over the ribs and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover tightly with another piece of foil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
  5. Remove from oven, brush generously with barbecue sauce, and broil for 5 to 7 minutes until bubbly and caramelized.
