- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Combine olive oil, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper; mix to create a dry rub.
- Generously rub the spice mixture all over the ribs and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover tightly with another piece of foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- Remove from oven, brush generously with barbecue sauce, and broil for 5 to 7 minutes until bubbly and caramelized.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving; cut into portions and enjoy.
Notes
For a healthier version, use sugar-free barbecue sauce or lighter meats like chicken or turkey.
