Ingredients
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup filtered water
2–3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/4 cup cold filtered water
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha
A few ice cubes
Instructions
In a glass, combine chia seeds and 1/2 cup water. Stir well and let sit 10–15 min.
Mix lemon juice, 3/4 cup cold water, and sweetener. Stir until blended.
Chill lemonade base for best results.
Whisk matcha with a splash of warm water until smooth.
Layer lemonade and chia gel in a tall glass. Pour matcha on top.
Serve with ice and enjoy immediately.
