  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Stir in sugar while the tea is still warm until dissolved, then allow to cool to room temperature.
  4. Blend the diced mango with a splash of water until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
  5. Mix the cooled tea with the mango puree and adjust sweetness as needed. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

Adjust sugar to taste based on mango ripeness. You can also add honey instead of sugar for natural sweetness.
