Instructions
- Activate the yeast by combining warm water with yeast and letting it sit for 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and Italian seasoning.
- Stir olive oil into the yeast mixture, then combine with dry ingredients until dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl covered with a damp cloth for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and fold in grated Parmesan cheese.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and let it rise again for 30 minutes on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
