Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, stirring until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool completely, then cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
