Healthy Lemon Balm Water

Description

A refreshing, calming infused drink made with fresh lemon balm, citrus juice, honey, and sparkling water. Perfect for hydration, relaxation, and a natural alternative to soda.


Ingredients

Scale

23 tablespoons honey

2 cups warm water

½ cup fresh lemon or lime juice

1 cup cool water

1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves

45 lemon slices

2 cups sparkling water

Ice cubes for serving


Instructions

  1. Dissolve honey:In a pitcher, stir 2–3 tablespoons of honey into 2 cups of warm water until fully dissolved.
  2. Add citrus juice:Pour in ½ cup of fresh lemon or lime juice, then stir in 1 cup of cool water.
  3. Muddle the herbs:Gently muddle 1 cup of fresh lemon balm leaves in the pitcher to release their oils.
  4. Chill:Add lemon slices and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Finish & serve:Before serving, pour in 2 cups of sparkling water. Serve over ice and garnish with extra lemon balm or citrus slices.

Notes

For a low-sugar version, reduce or omit the honey. Try cucumber slices or mint for variation. You can also prepare the base ahead and refrigerate up to 48 hours, then add sparkling water just before serving.
