Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Incorporate the ground turkey, breaking it apart and cooking until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in the diced bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook until the peppers are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve warm over rice, in lettuce wraps, or as taco filling.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with salsa, sour cream, or fresh cilantro. Customize with additional vegetables or beans for variation.
