- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon Cloves
- 1/2 cup White Chocolate (optional)
- Festive Sprinkles (optional, as desired)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add molasses, vanilla, and egg; mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, roll dough into balls and coat in sugar.
- Place dough balls on sheets and bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- If desired, drizzle melted white chocolate and sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
