- 2 cups Gingerbread cookies
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 cup Vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- Ground cinnamon for garnish, to taste
Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth, adding a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
- In another bowl, whisk the vanilla pudding mix and milk until thick, stirring in vanilla extract.
- Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy.
- Layer half of the gingerbread cookies in a rectangular dish, followed by half of the cream cheese mixture, then half of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using light cream cheese or Greek yogurt. You can also add chopped nuts or dried fruits for additional texture.
