Creamy Garlic Cheddar Mashed Potatoes that combine flavorful garlic and rich cheddar for a comforting dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, warm the milk and butter over low heat.
  3. Drain the potatoes and mash them in the pot.
  4. Gradually add the warm milk and butter mixture while mashing until creamy.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute butter with olive oil and use plant-based cheese. They pair well with gravy or roasted vegetables.
