- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 t-bone steaks
- 1 pound baby potatoes
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Boil baby potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Once done, drain and set aside.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then sear each side for 4-5 minutes until cooked to your liking. Remove the steaks and let them rest.
- Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
- Toss the boiled baby potatoes in the skillet to coat in the garlic butter sauce until warmed through.
- Serve the seared steak alongside the garlic butter potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Let the steak rest after cooking for maximum juiciness. You can substitute t-bone with ribeye or sirloin if desired.
