Garlic butter chicken bites with creamy noodles make an easy, comforting weeknight dinner ready in just 40 minutes.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz egg noodles

3 tbsp butter

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 cup chicken broth

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 lb boneless chicken breast, cubed

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Cook the egg noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 7–8 minutes. Drain well and toss lightly with a drizzle of olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Creamy Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the condensed soup and chicken broth until smooth. Season with Italian herbs, black pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Let the sauce simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken pieces. Sear for 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides and nearly cooked through.
  4. Add Garlic and Finish Cooking: Reduce the heat to medium, then stir in the minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to burn it. Check with a thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F for food safety.
  5. Combine Chicken, Sauce, and Noodles: Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet with the chicken. Add the cooked noodles and toss gently until everything is well coated and heated through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Transfer the dish to a serving platter or individual bowls. Sprinkle generously with chopped fresh parsley or grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm, ideally with a fresh salad on the side.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days and reheat with broth for creaminess.
