Description

This zesty, refreshing lime sorbet is made with just 4 ingredients. Naturally vegan and dairy-free, it’s the perfect citrus dessert for summer or a light finish to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup fresh lime juice (about 45 limes)

1 tbsp lime zest

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup water

Instructions

In a small saucepan, heat sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let cool to room temperature.

Whisk in lime juice and lime zest. Optional: strain to remove zest bits.

For no-churn: Pour into a shallow dish and freeze 2–3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals.

For machine: Pour into a pre-chilled ice cream maker and churn 20–25 minutes. Transfer to container and freeze for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Add mint, coconut water, or a pinch of salt for variation. Let soften at room temperature before scooping.
