- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 cup water or milk
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Evenly spread the chopped nuts and shredded coconut over the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, water or milk, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the layer of nuts and coconut.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter together. Gradually add the powdered sugar until creamy.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter to create marbled swirls.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, test for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool slightly before serving.
