Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken combines crunchy breaded chicken breast, creamy feta cheese, and a spicy honey drizzle for an extraordinary flavor experience.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 110 g honey
  • 1.5 tsp hot sauce
  • 0.75 tsp chili flakes
  • 500 g chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 35 g plain flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 65 g Panko breadcrumbs
  • 6 to 8 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200 g feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the hot honey mixture by combining honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes. Warm slightly and set aside.
  2. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create cutlets. Mix paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne; divide this mixture between flour and Panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Set up breading stations: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned Panko. Coat each cutlet in flour, then egg, then Panko.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet and fry cutlets for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on a wire rack.
  5. Preheat broiler, place cutlets on a baking sheet, top with feta, and broil for 1 to 2 minutes until cheese melts.
  6. Drizzle with hot honey mixture and serve immediately.

Notes

Consider serving with roasted vegetables or in sliders for a fun twist. Adjust the amount of hot sauce according to spice tolerance.
