Indulge in gourmet green asparagus puff pastry pockets, filled with creamy cheese and wrapped in flaky pastry, air-fried to perfection.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 500 g Asparagus
  • 1 packet Puff pastry
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 6 slices Prosciutto
  • 8-9 TL Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 - 2 tsp Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the green asparagus thoroughly and trim the woody ends. Cut them into pieces about 5 cm long.
  2. Unroll your puff pastry on parchment paper and cut it into six equal squares.
  3. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese into the center of each pastry square. Layer with a slice of prosciutto and asparagus pieces. Sprinkle approximately 1 teaspoon of grated Parmesan on top and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to form a pocket. Preheat your air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with extra Parmesan if desired. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

These pockets can be prepared ahead of time and are perfect for parties. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
